My loyal readers, can you ever forgive me? I know it’s been weeks since I wrote but working at a Jewish summer camp will do that to you. I know, I know, I should have found a minute to tell you…so many final cups of cafe hafuch to drink (and bags to pack) before leaving Tel Aviv for the summer, so little time. I’ve returned to my roots at Camp Tel Yehudah, Young Judaea’s national high school camp, for 2.5 months, or as it was called in my day, “Israel on the Delaware.” I’m working as a group leader for incoming 11th graders which has been quite fun thus far.
Lots of things to laugh about and make fun of, but for now, I’ll have to leave you with this. This here page was cited in a recent article about Anglo bloggers on this Israeli newspage/search engine. Not actually sure WHAT it says just yet but hopefully I’ll have it translated before Middle East peace is achieved (I knew I should have taken Ulpan more seriously.) Very exciting-thanks for your continued reading.
Update: OK…thanks to Liza for helping me understand the article. Clearly, the author has no sense of humor.
Gotta run-I promise an update to come in the next several days. Stay tuned! And those of you living in Tel Aviv, enjoy a plate of chumus and the beach weather for me.
